VENETIAN PLASTER. FINE – Textured lime-based coating

CALCHÈRA Marmorino is a wall coating consisting of lime paste, colouring earths, marble powders and marble granules, vegetable additives and organic promoters providing good adhesion. After application it reacts with the carbon dioxide present in the environment, giving rise to microcrystalline calcium carbonate. In addition, reacting at the same time with the calcium salts of the plaster, this product gives rise to calcium carbonate, a mineral with chemical-physical characteristics resembling those of building materials. CALCHÈRA Marmorino presents an excellent adhesion on mineral surfaces based on lime mortar or cement-lime mortal, even if seasoned. The vapour permeability of CALCHÈRA Marmorino is very good, insofar as the microcrystalline structure resulting from the precipitation of calcium carbonate does not modify the porosity of the plaster. Thanks to the high degree of alkalinity deriving from the inorganic nature of coating, CALCHÈRA Marmorino is particularly resistant to mould and fungi. To these peculiar characteristics CALCHÈRA Marmorino adds chromatic effects of great elegance similar to those of colour finishes of the past, thus making it suitable for use in the restoration of historic buildings.

VENETIAN PLASTER. Natural lime finishing plaster

CALCHÈRA Rasatura is a fine paste suitable for creating the very smooth, translucid finishes known as “calce rasata”. It has a base of lime paste, colouring earths, micronized marble, vegetable additives. After application it reacts with the carbon dioxide present in the environment, giving rise to microcrystalline calcium carbonate. VENETIAN PLASTER. Universal coloured lime finishing paste

MAKE UP is a fine paste suitable for creating the very smooth, translucid finishes known as “calce rasata”. It is based on natural lime, colouring earths, micronized marble, alkali-resistant organic polymers and vegetable additives. MAKE UP presents an excellent adhesion on all fine surfaces, for example cement-lime mortar or equivalent plasters, gypsum plaster for interiors and concrete structures with compact, uniform and flat surfaces, plasterboard panels.  
The vapour permeability of MAKE UP makes it suitable for application on all surfaces, provided they are free from rising damp. Thanks to the high degree of alkalinity deriving from the inorganic nature of coating, MAKE UP is particularly resistant to mould and fungi. The particular formulation makes the product both adequately resistant to alkalis and atmospheric agents, and makes it easy-to-apply, very workable, elastic and highly adherent to all surfaces.

It can be applied on any indoor wall surface, even if this has been treated with paint or synthetic coatings, provided they are firm, sound and not affected by damp of any origin. In addition MARBLESTONE can be used outside, provided that the surfaces are firm and not affected by rising damp. Old plastic coatings or paintwork must be stripped off.

FIXAFOND B 400

Quartz sealer for plasterboard

FIXAFOND B 400 is a special sealer for porous substrates. FIXAFOND B 400 is based of vegetable resins in aqueous dispersion and quartz powders very thins and additives that favour penetration and consolidation of the base.    
Thanks to its composition with particular quartz powders, FIXAFOND B 400 is particularly suitable to prepare plasterboard's undercoat. It is inodorous, not toxic, it isn't inflammable, friend of man and environment.

AQUAWAX

AQUAWAX is the best sealer for any kind of Venetian plaster. It is not stay on the surface after application like most of other products available on the market: Cera Wax, Butcher Wax, Natural Wax and etc...., but penetrates quickly into the surface without leaving any traces. We recommend it to be applied in one coat with sponge or soft ragg's pad: it can save you a lot of working time. Low sheen!!!
